Al-Faisal College Unveils Master Plan

PMDL has hit the grounding running in the face social-distancing with cross studio teams already in operation. The Al-Faisal College Liverpool masterplan was already being shared between our Hong Kong and Sydney studios when the devastation of the virus hit. The Al-Faisal masterplan is a significant project that will provide for around six thousand students and teachers combined. The greatest challenge has been to bring the school down to a human scale. Our team have devised a way of thinking in terms of “schools within school’. Buildings are literally designed around spaces to nurture the quality the of open domain. We will continue to work closely with the College, project team and stakeholders to deliver this wonderful project for the community, even if it means pets on laps, team-mates in pyjamas and burst of children running past!
