Braith Williams Aquatic Centre for Pymble Ladies’ College chosen as the home of NSWIS’s new high performance swimming hub!
Pymble Ladies’ College Principal, Mrs Vicki Waters said the partnership with NSWIS supported the strategic aim of the College to forge partnerships with external experts that can extend student learning and growth, as well as staff professional development.
The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) has announced plans for a new high-performance hub in the Northern Metro area of Sydney and PMDL’s Braith Williams Aquatic Centre for Pymble Ladies’ College has been chosen to be the home to the high-performance hub.
In a partnership between the Institute, Swimming NSW, Swimming Australia, Pymble Ladies’ College and Knox Grammar School, the hub will also become the new home of two of the country’s most successful swimmers, Cate and Bronte Campbell.
It will be led by one of Australia’s most highly respected swimming coaches, Simon Cusack. As part of the Institute’s broader strategy to develop pathways and increase the number of elite swimmers across the state, Cusack will help develop the new hub in Sydney’s north.
