George and Matilda is a innovative optical retailer on a mission to re-frame the eye care category across Australia. The new eye care provider has a unique offer, partnering with local established optometrists to provide a new approach to progressive vision care and stylish frames in a welcoming and warm retail environment.
We provided schematic design, tender and construction administration to take the brands recently acquired Liverpool store from inception to realisation. The brief required a new concept and retail experience as well as increasing capacity of the optometry service.

A palette of warm natural finishes and materials, and custom graphic inspired by the contours
of the Australian landscape were proposed reminiscent of the Australian heritage with a home-like feel reflective of the brands core DNA.
