The brief for the Senior Centre called for agile learning spaces that supported and encouraged a range of learning styles, provided opportunities for the emergence of learning and social space and extended the learning outside.

The College’s investment in the exterior spaces to support the learning and social ambitions is commendable. The College recognises the value of designing outdoor space as an extension of the learning and to that end encouraged design of landscaped solutions that supported both class instruction and presentation as well smaller group and individual work, play and socialisation.
